What is Entropia Tanks?
A persistent tank MMO sandbox set in one living, shared world. You are a subtle body — a consciousness that only perceives the world through the tank it connects to. Reclaim stability from an entropic world, and from other Tankists.

The Entropy Field
A constant, corrosive radiation fills the whole world. It only harms assembled, working machines — tanks, buildings, turrets, extractors — and grows stronger the farther you travel from a working dome. It does not touch subtle bodies, terrain or loose resources. Every advance is a question of repair, routes, supply and protection, not just firepower.
The map is not an arena — it is opened by players
The world is built from tiles behind a wall of entropy blocks. Shoot a block and the tile opens for everyone — new terrain, water, resources and conflict zones. Territory left untended is reclaimed by entropy and regenerates differently next time. The world expands, and can shrink.
One system: spire, dome, stability
A spire is a structure you build on a captured ordering point. While fuelled, it generates a dome that suppresses entropic radiation — the stability zone inside is where you build, repair and stage the next push. Spire, dome and zone are not separate features: the spire makes the dome, the dome makes the zone.
Every activated spire creates a new stability zone and expands the safe part of the world. Hold it, and you hold ground. Lose it, and entropy returns.

Riders
Riders are the world's native NPC tanks, driven by an organic fungal intelligence that lets simple machines coordinate. They guard ordering points, mine, haul and build. Taking a point means beating their waves — and their wreckage feeds the economy.
Full Loot. Real risk. Every operation matters.
Beyond the stability dome, nothing is guaranteed. Victory brings trophies; defeat has a cost. Tanks, modules, cargo and resources can be lost — and what is lost re-enters the world. Your progress and your Entropia Coin, however, are never taken.
What you take from a beaten enemy is really yours — machines, modules and cargo.
Losing your tank means losing what it carried. Risk is what makes every route matter.
Nothing simply vanishes. Destroyed matériel becomes salvage, demand and new production.
A free subsidised starter tank is always available on request — losing a machine never locks you out.
A living market, not a shop
Demand, scarcity, repair, production and trade emerge from player action. The global market shares prices and payment across the whole world — but goods stay physical, sitting in the building where they were listed. Full loot creates constant demand: player losses do not disappear from the game, they become fuel for the economy. Entropia Coin (EC) lives on one account, reachable anywhere, and survives death.
War is more than combat
There is no NPC delivery service. Cargo is moved by players, under contracts with escrow and deadlines — and it can be raided, lost or defended. The best shooters don't always win: victory goes to those who can resupply, repair, hold routes, negotiate and control infrastructure behind the front.
Grow over time — even outside combat
Long-term MMO progression without mandatory endless grinding. Your subtle body develops on its own over time; plan a specialisation and strengthen your chosen playstyle at your own pace.
Permanent abilities of the subtle body. Once integrated they are never lost — not even on death — and awaken gradually over time.
Four core traits — Courage, Intellect, Prudence, Diplomacy — that set how fast related skills awaken.
A personal life-force resource that can awaken a skill instantly. It cannot be bought, sold or traded.
One world means shared consequences
Because the world is shared, diplomacy, conflicts, alliances, spire control, routes and stability zones have global consequences. Enclaves set diplomatic stances — alliance, passage, neutrality or war — and control access to their infrastructure. This is not a local match or a separate room: it is one shared history. One global world, many wars, one story.
